Debbie is Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator, reporting to Jeff Mitchell, Proteus President. Before joining the Proteus team, Debbie spent over two decades at Penton Media in Minneapolis, where she served as office manager, HR supervisor, and executive assistant to the senior vice president. During her time there, she weathered several changes of corporate ownership, downsizing and growth periods, giving her real understanding of and experience in navigating organizational change.

Debbie is superior at managing workflow, prioritizing tasks, producing correspondence, and handling scheduling, as well as coordinating travel and managing expense reports. Before moving to Penton, she worked in the health care field, managing all facets of a busy office: delivering an outstanding customer experience, scheduling patients, managing insurance issues, validating inventory and even providing some patient services. Debbie has an AAS degree in Human Resources and understands what it takes to be a solid member of a successful team, and what it takes to support others to team well together.

She brings her varied and deep experience to her work with the Proteus team and our clients, who appreciate her unique combination of grace under pressure with enthusiasm, passion and commitment to results.
