Nathan brings to his work with clients many years of experience across a variety of industries in building great teams, setting strategy, and accomplishing challenging goals. His collaborative and up-tempo approach is both inspiring and clarifying: he helps clients see what’s possible for them and then find the path to achieving it.
He is particularly helpful in situations requiring significant change. Nathan supports clients though major transformations by drawing on his expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, process improvement, employee engagement, and program management – all while helping bring alignment across functions and talent at all levels in the process. In some of his most successful engagements, Nathan has worked with clients to grow sales, enhance savings and profitability, drive operational efficiencies, develop talent, and plan for the future.
Before joining Proteus, Nathan was a senior executive with one of North America’s largest retail foodservice manufacturing firms, where he contributed to their transformation into a consolidated “house of brands”, led operations for the North American parts and service business, helped lead implementation of program management, and developed strategy for two of those brands.
Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academy, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University, and a Master’s in Strategic Management from Indiana University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, Upper Midwest.
