Luca Duccio Donati

Luca brings 25 years of senior leadership experience in global media to his work as an executive coach. He rose to Executive Vice President at NBCUniversal, where he held full P&L responsibility for channel and distribution businesses in more than 160 countries. He led teams of hundreds through growth, turnaround, and post-merger integration, negotiated deals on every continent, and guided multicultural teams from Los Angeles and London, including during the integration of Comcast and NBCUniversal’s international operations.

Having both held a high-pressure executive role and experienced coaching from the client’s perspective, Luca understands the demands leaders face at critical inflection points. He works particularly well with executives navigating transformation, expanded scope, or complex transitions. His operator-level business fluency helps clients make sense of challenging strategic and operational issues, while his coaching supports them to strengthen executive presence, influence, and effectiveness across cultures.

Luca combines this practical business experience with genuine psychological depth. After leaving the corporate world, he earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and trained as a Certified Professional Coach through an International Coaching Federation-accredited program. He has since delivered more than 1,000 hours of coaching to executives and business owners.

Direct, warm, and deeply invested, Luca builds trust quickly, offers candid feedback, and holds clients accountable for meaningful action. He is especially skilled at making complex business matters clear and helping leaders close the gap between who they intend to be and how they operate.

Born and raised in Rome, Luca has lived in London and New York and is now based in Los Angeles. He is a native Italian speaker and also speaks Spanish and French.
