Kate Payne has been advising senior leaders building businesses for 20+ years—both as a handpicked insider and outside consultant. Her gift for helping smart leaders sharpen their skills and grow their teams makes her a trusted resource to clients and colleagues alike.

She’s worked alongside hundreds of executives in every field, from bioscience to Broadway. She doesn’t bring all the answers, but together she and her clients leverage their wisdom and experiences to figure it out.

She is a trusted partner, motivator and truth teller. Through the lens of business and psychology, she listens generously to help clients clarify core issues, envision outcomes, remove obstacles (real and imaginary), and activate their confidence and capabilities to reach their goals. Her work transforms leadership and creates a gateway to a life of fulfillment and wellbeing.

Kate has seen nearly every workplace challenge from inside the C-suite to the frontline operations, carefully curating the simplest, most effective mindsets, habits and strategies of successful leaders.

Kate didn’t parachute into this profession. This has been her calling since she was an undergrad at Middlebury, when executive coaching barely existed. She earned an M.S. degree in Industrial Organizational psychology from Clemson University then honed her expertise as a management consultant and director of talent at some of the world’s most dynamic companies such as Accenture, Proteus International, Fast Company Magazine and The Children’s Place/Disney Stores of North America.

It isn’t just her experience, extensive training from The Coaches Training Institute, numerous certifications in personality and behavioral assessments, or even her client work—

NBC Universal, GE, Interpublic Group, AccuWeather, BNY Mellon Investment Management, J.P. Morgan, Paramount Global, United Natural Foods, Acushnet, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, McKinsey and Company, Boston Planning and Development Agency, Traveler’s Insurance to name a few

… it’s who Kate is as a person—a lifelong learner and deeply committed to helping people feel and be successful.
