Ian partners with organizations to help them innovate and transform. He helps leaders see where their systems, processes, and technologies can be improved to capture more value for the organization and deliver better customer and employee experiences. He collaborates with cross-functional teams to co-create feasible strategies and then works with stakeholders at every level to execute so those improvements are adopted and sustained over time.
Ian operates at the intersection of innovation, technology and human-centered design, keeping in mind (and helping others focus on) all the key elements necessary to accelerate organizational change. His clients have noted his ability to build trusting relationships while seeing to the heart of difficult problems, making him uniquely effective at catalyzing major change.
He has worked with client companies in a variety of industries to support their growth and transformation, including Cargill, Target, Medtronic, and 3M.
Ian has lived and worked in Japan. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Davidson College, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, where he was honored as a Bill Starling Life Sciences Fellow.
