Lawrence Dunford has successfully led Organizational Development & Learning initiatives across various industries including healthcare, retail and commercial banking, media and technology. In these roles, along with his early experience as a US Army Behavioral Science Specialist, Lawrence has developed deep expertise in individual assessment, group analysis, conflict resolution, coaching, problem solving and change management.
He has a gift for attention to detail and a keen understanding of what it takes to lead in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment. A leader of several high performing teams himself, he is disciplined in emotional intelligence, team dynamics, and conflict management. He is frequently called upon as a trusted advisor to organizations and senior leadership teams, and has consistently received positive feedback for his clarity, breadth of knowledge, coaching experience, and engaging teaching style. Lawrence’s work with corporate clients includes Kaiser Permanente, Bloomberg BNA, Urban One, Congressional Bank, EagleBank & PNC Mortgage.
Lawrence holds a BA in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and a MA in Organizational Behavior from the California School of Professional Psychology. He is a Certified Professional Coach and has experience using a wide variety of leadership and management assessment tools.
